Reporting directly to the Australian Managing Director the Human Resources Manager will guide, deliver and manage the Human Resources Function which encompasses Industrial Relations, Recruitment Training and Development, OHS, HR policy and procedure, employee welfare and engagement, organisational capability, and payroll and administration.
With relevant tertiary qualifications the successful incumbent will form part of the leadership team and will demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience in the application of employment related legislation including IR, EEO and Anti Discrimination. With experience in retail, manufacturing or the consumer sector, in a HR Management role you will build credibility in the business by creating practical HR solutions that work to improve the business operations.
With high levels of initiative and integrity your interpersonal skills will be second to none and you will follow this through with strong written and verbal communication skills. As a key advisor to the Managing Director, you will actively listen and be comfortable mediating and liaising with all levels of staff and external key stakeholders to manage complex HR issues. With effective time management skills, you are a forward planner, organised and able to work autonomously.
