A newly created opportunity now exists to join this organisation as the GM Remuneration, Recruitment & IR.
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will partner with the business to develop a group wide remuneration strategy including the executive long term incentive plans. Aligning the remuneration strategy with the company’s recruitment approach and methodology will be a pivotal component of your role. As a key component of the remuneration structures are managed through the enterprise agreements, this role will also oversee the development of a long term industrial strategy to maximise the effectiveness of labour structures. Ensuring that robust management of process around internal external recruitment suppliers and internal sign off procedures are in place will be key requirements.
This role will have the opportunity to build a team and hire in HR specialists to cover the key disciplines of this role. Assessing the capability that exists within the organisation and HR team and identifying the skill gaps to ensure the appropriate expertise is recruited will be crucial to your success.
Driving HR policies and procedures across employee engagement, organisational capability and ensuring strong internal stakeholder management and business partnering will underpin your success. As a key advisor to the business, you will be comfortable mediating and liaising with all levels of staff and managing key stakeholders to deal with complex people issues.
With relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, you will bring proven experience in a HR management role ideally gained from large manufacturing, transport, FMCG or an industrial related industry. With high levels of initiative and integrity your interpersonal skills will be second to none and you will follow this through with strong written and verbal communication skills.
