This is a newly created role where you can help create their people strategy, build capability and develop best practice programs. This is a role for a dynamic, high energy and innovative leader.
Reporting to the Executive Head of People & Culture, your role will manage a team and you will oversee the development of the Learning & Development function, taking into consideration the EVP, planned growth and future workforce planning needs as well as overseeing Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning/Talent Management, Internal Communications and Diversity and Inclusion. Your role will oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of best practice learning programs and you will act as a key player in creating the strategy for Leadership Development. Partnering with the Executive and other Senior Leaders, you are able to gain buy in and commitment through your strong communication skills, credibility as a People Leader and ability to deliver tangible outcomes. Other responsibilities include:
• Assist in the development of the strategy and create and/or source programs, processes and tools to strengthen leaders across the organisation including succession planning, assessments, feedback, mentoring, coaching and learning.
• Lead a team to deliver operational and leadership development programs and deliver assessment and reporting on key business metrics.
• Partner with Senior Management on assessing team capability and assist in developing customised learning and development programs to ensure succession planning and talent management is proactively managed with measurable results
• Partner with business leaders, key stakeholders and external providers to develop the best leadership development and organisational development programs.
• Source and manage 3rd party suppliers for content design and operations if necessary.
• Oversee the L&D calendar and oversee the annual budget along with tracking and reporting on results to objectives.
• One-on-one coaching of leaders and high potential future leaders.
• Brand Ambassador and custodian of company values and the People & Culture mission.
With proven experience in senior leadership roles incorporating Learning & Development, OD, Talent Acquisition and Management, your experience will have been gained from either a medium to large size business ideally across Professional Services or major corporate. You will have proven success in leading a HR team and function in a medium to large and complex organisation with a focus on cultural change, talent management, learning and performance management. You will be an innovative, contemporary and down to earth leader who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level. With high levels of initiative and integrity, your interpersonal skills will be second to none and you will follow this through with strong written and verbal communication skills. You wil have formal tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development or related to support your career experience.
