An exciting opportunity exists to join this market leader in a newly created role as a National Sales Manager, where you will provide leadership, management and coaching to the state based teams.
This role is responsible for the day to day operation of this particular channel at both field and account level, as well as delivering the contracts, whilst constantly monitoring state performance against external benchmarks to assess market penetration and share. With a strategic outlook and engaging other areas of the business you will manage the portfolio from a brand, category, trade, and promotional aspect coupled with tactical channel initiatives. Whilst also ensuring the development of the talent pool across your business and ensuring you match your people to key segments and get the balance right between solid performers and emerging talent.
Ideally with tertiary qualifications at either Bachelor or MBA level, your experience will be significant within a FMCG business and your understanding of multi-channels or HORECA will be highly regarded. An executive package will be negotiated with the successful candidate who can demonstrate commercial acumen and excellent problem solving skills, supported by a proven track record in sales - achieving budgets, proactively identifying opportunities and issues, and building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
