With a portfolio of products that are category leaders, the role of COO is a pivotal position in formulating and executing the strategic direction for their business with full P&L responsibility.
You will work collaboratively with the Board and senior management team and will have responsibility for developing, implementing and constantly improving operational strategies across strategic account/sales management, marketing, logistics/supply chain, finance and driving innovation across systems and processes to ensure you are delivering and exceeding customer expectations. An engaging and charismatic people leader, you will work closely with a small team and enjoy a role that has a blend of both strategic and operational demands. With full accountability for top lines sales and ebita, you will enjoy leading from the front and are used to having day to day interaction with your key external customers/business partners and thrive on commercial negotiations and working in a fast paced yet fluid environment.
Formal tertiary qualifications in business or commerce are essential as is a background in a senior management role from the Beverage FMCG industry and ideally have a mix of both larger and smaller business experience. You will be commercially orientated yet continually focused on delivering both a quality product and service to your customers and most likely will come from being a functional GM or Director of Sales. You will have strong communication and financial management skills and the ability to work with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
