This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to join this ASX listed organisation and be part of their Insurance and Superannuation business. Our clients product offering includes general insurance, personal advice insurance and superannuation products that protect a wide variety of customers. This position works very closely with the branch network, brokers and financial advisers.
As Business Development Manager, this position has a very strong sales and channel development focus. The main objective of this position is to drive revenue and sales through the branch network and referrals across the bank to ensure that the team exceeds sales targets for general advice products, such as General, Home and Contents, mortgage protection Insurance, car, travel and super Insurance. You will also need to assist with driving quality referrals to financial advisers to increase overall wealth targets.
Your key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and have developed their career from within the financial services, banking or relevant insurance industries and you may also possess sales management with a leadership or coaching aspect to the role and or channel development experience. In this position you will be indirectly responsible for the sale of Insurance products and solutions without having direct reports. Qualification in PS146/PS 164 or RG 146 â€“ Tier 2 accreditation is desirable but not essential. This role with require some travel in Melbourne and Regional locations throughout Victoria. The successful candidate will be offered an attractive base salary plus super, bonuses and company car.
