As they embark on further strategic growth and acquisitions they require a Senior Product Manager to join their team. You will report directly to the National Marketing Manager and your key objective will be the responsibility of managing your existing categories as well as new product development and implementation and execution of those categories in your portfolio. Your focus will be to develop products that will drive consumer sales, brand awareness and market share which will support revenue growth.
Working closely with the R&D and Sales Teams and being involved in all aspects of the brand strategy, you will provide detailed analysis and forecasting of your categories, whilst embracing the long term business goals. With large retail B2B customers, you will have excellent relationship and negotiation skills and understand the key principles of category management.
The ideal candidate will come from a consumer based B2B business and ideally be tertiary qualified in a marketing discipline. You will have extensive experience in developing and executing product ranges within agreed budgets, adding value to the brand and meeting sales and gross profit targets. You will be creative and naturally think outside the square, where your commercial and financial acumen set you apart in your current environment. A hands on role, you are open to change and resilient. There will be regular interstate travel required for this role and the possibility of international travel also.
