Our client is a market leader that has highly recognised brands. We have an exciting opportunity for a payroll/HR officer to join their fast paced team. With a great team and culture and offering flexible hours, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer.
Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of their payroll which is a mix of weekly and monthly. You will oversee all new start set ups, staff expenses, superannuation, leave entitlements, taxation and termination calculations. In addition to this, you will have hands on exposure in payroll accounting duties by assisting the with payroll reconciliations, journals and statutory pays. You will be involved in providing broader HR support on a variety of projects.
You will be an energetic and experienced payroll professional with exceptional communication skills. Working as part of a close knit team, you can manage and prioritise your time effectively and enjoy a busy yet supportive culture. Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation and awards, as well as performing changes to these functions is essential. Ideally exposure to SAP would be advantageous however experience with other relevant payroll software will be regarded.
