Head of Sales Consulting
This market leading services organisation has a strong heritage in the domestic market and has doubled in size and revenue over the last decade. We are seeking a unique individual that brings a well-developed skill set in high level solution selling however presents with humility, empathy for others and high levels of EQ.
This position will play a key leadership role in the organisation and has the ability to truly inspire people. Someone who can build cohesive and collegiate teams, overcome objections and obstacles and is very capable in identifying ways in which to develop, challenge and build capability with the sales consulting team. You will be responsible for leading the team to develop robust sales and account management strategies and ensure back office processes and procedures are effective in supporting delivery on complex solutions. Success will be achieved through tailored coaching and development of a diverse sales team with varying levels of skill and experience. The Head of Sales Consulting will empower the team to actively pursue and win new business opportunities, and retain and develop existing client relationships to grow the existing and new channels to market.
The successful candidate will bring a successful and proven track record in B2B sales with both an internal and client facing background ideally gained from a solution sales consulting background. You will have a reputation as an excellent sales leader and coach with firsthand experience in building high performance teams. A track record of developing future managers and leaders you will bring great communication skills to connect and influence effectively throughout the organisation. You will have an appreciation and understanding of selling and marketing beyond features and benefits and demonstrable strategic thinking and planning abilities. You well present in a professional manner and have a calm and considered leadership style.
