It is for these reasons that they now seek to employ anewly created role for a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager to take their business forward.
Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the senior Leadership team, this role is pivotal in planning, managing and coordinating the sales and marketing activities for the Field Sales Team, National Account Management Team, Retail Team and Creative Design Teams. Of particular importance is the Sales Function, in which you will develop business plans and sales budgets, and drive sales strategies through product mix, territory management, customer service and implementing performance measures. Function of this role requires development of tactical activities such as PR, Advertising and Promotions, as well as Brand Positioning. This role has 4 direct reports and 60 indirect, and will lead the development of ahigh performance culture, acting as a change agent.
You will need to be an absolute standout individual who is a high performer and is a results driven leader with a proven record in sales and marketing management. You will have successfully implemented structure and process and have strong discipline around key account management, business development and strategy. You aredynamic, driven, charismatic and engage people at all levels.
We also seek previous experience in driving business growth in a competitive direct to retail environment, as well as developing and implementing marketing strategy. Experience in the Automotive, Industrial or Hardware environment is preferred or some other consumer hardgoods background. YouMUST have strong brand management experience gained from a medium to larger sized enterprise and ideallyinternational experience or working for a global business. Your strength will be in sales however you will have had exposure to marketing to bring capability to this team. You will have as a minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing and an MBA would be desirable. This is a career step to a potential CEO role in the future.
