Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, this role has a strong emphasis on B2B sales, coaching and mentoring your team around account management, product mix and formulating appropriate sales strategies to maximise customer growth and profitability. A strong commercial orientation, ability to balance the day to day sales management coupled with developing the strategic business plan will be crucial to your success. You will work closely with procurement, the product development team and operations. Hence excellent stakeholder management skills are essential.
You will have formal qualifications in business/ marketing or a related discipline; will have held a senior sales management role ideally in a manufacturing, FMCG or an industrial environment and have a demonstrable track record of success in achieving financial results and leading sales teams. A high sense of urgency, energy and drive and ability to identify and make necessary change to effect results, you thrive on a challenge and are motivated by being able to make a difference.
