An exciting opportunity exists to join this market leader in a newly created role as a National Account Manager, where you will strategically account manage into the majors. Your ability to understand this channel and build relationships with the toughest buyers is what you pride yourself on and makes you stand out from the crowd.
This role is responsible for the day to day operation of this particular channel at account level, as well as delivering the contracts, whilst constantly monitoring competitor performance against external benchmarks to assess market penetration and share. With a strategic outlook and engaging other areas of the business you will manage the portfolio from a brand, category, trade, and promotional aspect coupled with tactical channel initiatives.
Ideally with tertiary qualifications, your experience will be significant within a FMCG business and your understanding of the Grocery channel is mandatory. An executive package will be negotiated with the successful candidate who can demonstrate commercial acumen and excellent problem solving skills, supported by a proven track record in sales , achieving budgets, proactively identifying opportunities and issues, and building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
