Due to growth, they have a newly created role to lead their field sales team and continue building upon their existing client base.
Reporting to the MD, crucial to this role is your ability to work closely with your team in developing sales strategies that will enhance both existing customer relationships whilst also exploring new retail distribution channels. Providing clear direction and support to the field sales force around trading terms, achievement of sales budgets, account management and promotional programs will be key measures of your success. Your ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and take a proactive, ‘can do’ approach is essential.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar role within homewares or a related consumer industry. You will have experience in dealing with large retail organisations from a wholesale perspective and have an eye for trends and growth opportunities. You will possess excellent communication skills, be an energised and inspiring leader and have strong commercial acumen and a track record of success in achieving sales performance.
