Reporting directly to the Australian Managing Director and forming part of the senior leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will guide, deliver and manage the Human Resources Function which encompasses Organisational Development, Training, Recruitment, Industrial Relations, OHS, Payroll and Administration. A main priority will be partnering with the retail operations team on building organisational capability and developing greater bench strength through learning and development programs that will ensure the business is well positioned for succession planning as the organisation grows. As a key advisor to the Managing Director, you will actively listen and be comfortable mediating and liaising with all levels of staff and external parties on various HR issues. With effective time management skills, you are a forward planner, organised and able to work autonomously.
The successful candidate will have relevant HR tertiary qualifications and ideally will bring career experience from a retail or related background. You will be comfortable managing a small team yet are a hands on leader and enjoy working with frontline teams. With high levels of initiative and integrity, your interpersonal skills will be second to none and you will follow this through with strong written and verbal communication skills.
