An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join one of the Global top tier FMCG organisations, who are presently experiencing solid growth and have made a number of acquisitions they are seeking to consolidate on. This role is pivotal in relation to acting as a key link between Sales, Marketing and key customer groups, with reference to the development of a specific category group and team.
This role will be a key leadership position within this companies leading category team and will be seen as the main consolidation point with respect to Sales, Marketing and Category management functions, together with ensuring the short to medium term strategies and targets are being met through ‘Best Practice' and execution on a national scale. You will also be responsible for and have a solid understanding of forecasting, trade spend/promotional programs/pricing, contribution, etc., and the factors that impact these.
Tertiary qualified, you must have experience in Trade Marketing or Category Management, with in a category focused FMCG organisation. You may have also had experience in a National Account Manager position with an aspiration and capability of making the transition. You will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to influence at all levels. Also, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical and financial skills, and be able to independently analyse key issues and brand implications, with specific knowledge of the marketing mix.
