A highly sought after employer of choice, this ASX listed organisation is a global leader in their area of specialisation. Due to internal initiatives around cost effectiveness, a newly created role has become available on a 12 month fixed term contract for a consultant to focus on extracting value from established supplier agreements across a variety of categories.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as an internal facilitator with stakeholders from a number of departments within the business to review and gain input on existing multi-site supplier contracts, with the aim of identifying and maximising value-in-use opportunities, in particular focusing on labour and high impact output costs. You will be responsible for cost improvement programmes, resource workshops, as well as working and negotiating with global suppliers to add value.
You will be an exceptional communicator with strong influencing skills and a strong career background in either Procurement, Continuous Improvement or Project Management where you can demonstrate your negotiation skills and revision of supply agreements. You will also have gained previous experience working across internal teams to achieve a desired business outcome. To be successful you will be comfortable working within a dynamic, highly pressurised environment, be a very detailed and highly organised person with tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
