Our client is a dynamic and boutique yet very busy Construction organisation that works on high end multi-million $ residential projects. They have won prestigious industry awards and are committed to building exceptional quality, innovative and contemporary properties. As a result of growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team, where you will be responsible for working on a diverse range of projects.
Reporting to the Office Manager and dotted line to the Managing Director, your role will focus on many areas as outlined below:
• Managing project timelines
• Assist in the preparation of Tender Packages
• Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes and procurement schedules
• Assist with the development of cost reports and budgeting
• Review, negotiate and finalise subcontracts
• Be involved in processing variations and progress claims
• Assist in producing labour and material schedules for ordering
• Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive pf subcontractor claims
• Administer RFI's to Clients, Architects and Consultants
• Administer Construction contracts and ensure all contract conditions are met
• Assessing and certifying contractor progress payments
• Preparation of subcontractor packages and procurement schedules
• Assist in achieving final sign off and Certification
You will have strong project management skills, thrive in working in a fast paced and dynamic business, where your ability to build and maintain relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers and clients will see you deliver key financial information and project updates on a timely basis. You will need formal tertiary qualifications in a Construction e.g. Certificate IV in Building and Construction or Diploma of Building and Construction Building and will need 5+++ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager. You will have a passion for delivering a quality product, have excellent attention to detail and can manage tight deadlines. With a personable and easy going nature, you will enjoy working as part of a small yet very busy team!
