Laura’s professional career within recruitment consultancy started with her very first job. Engaged by Alfred Marks (now Adecco UK) as an Office Assistant, Laura soon progressed through the business to become the youngest Branch Manager within Adecco UK at only 22 years old. Continuing her career with Adecco UK, Laura took up the role of Business Process Manager, developing and training 32 locations across the UK as well as working on some of Adecco’s major internal projects to improve processes and IT systems. After 12 years’ service with Adecco Laura spent some time with a large UK Healthcare recruitment company called PULSE Staffing, implementing a compliance function to adhere to the UK’s NHS PaSA procedures. It was in 2007 that Laura decided to bring her experience to Australia and joined Hudson as an Accounting Specialist Consultant to gain knowledge of the Australian market. Laura then followed her passion of process, compliance, system improvement and joined astutepayroll.com in Melbourne as a Client Services Manager. Joining the team in May 2012, Laura currently manages the day to day functions of the TalentConnection business as well as supporting the team in sourcing top talent for their clients. Holding more than 18 years in the recruitment industry, Laura has a strong belief that recruitment is about offering a professional service in which all parties are consulted in an honest and informative manner. Laura is passionate about the industry and is dedicated to the clients she works with and the team that she supports.
