With significant growth over the past few years, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced National Account Manager to further enhance and cultivate relationships and drive growth initiatives within this businesses retail grocery customer group.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for successfully managing key relationships with a view to developing and driving account strategies and ensuring the long term growth and profitability for the product portfolio. This will be achieved through maximising promotional effectiveness and managing business performance so that key objectives are realised. You will also work closely with manufacturing partners, specifically relating to the overall Private Label solution such as Product Development, Category Management, etc, which is unique and different to a traditional Account Management function.
Your previous FMCG experience at a National Account Management level within a variety of retail grocery accounts, will equip you for success. Degree qualifications, combined with a strong commercial acumen, superior negotiation and influencing skills are essential. You will also have a broader appreciation for other commercial aspects such as product mix, product development, and a good understanding of Food Technology are preferable. Also, your ability to think strategically, manage a growing business and thrive in a team culture will be rewarded.
